About

About Me:

I am a photographer based out of India. My passion lies in capturing images of people I’m intrigued by—their faces, the stories behind them, their lifestyles, cultures, and traditions. I like endlessly roaming around the streets, wherever I go, and spend time learning and understanding my subjects. Also, as is apparent from my blog, I do have a soft corner for portraits and images in black and white! If you would like to work with me for assignments and commissioned works, get in touch with me here.

About This Photoblog:

On August 1, 2008 I started this photoblog to showcase the images of people that I shoot  and creating images for this photoblog has always been an exciting and fulfilling challenge. As a mark of my fondness for black and white, this site uses only different shades of grey for all its elements.

  2. Hi,

I’ve visited your site and found that your site’s themes are related with ours. Therefore, we’d like to place a 3-month site wide 125*125 banner ad (Do Follow) or Text Ad(Do Follow) on your site. I don’t want CPM or CPC. Would you please quote me your price?

(If you don’t do 125 x 125 banner ad, we can also go with other size and type. Also, if you have other site that allow Ads, you can tell me)

Looking forward to your KINDLY reply!

    Sincerely,

  35. Hi Joshi, remember me? I’ve always been a fan of your photography from a long time. Especially the nudes that you shoot. They’re incredible. I don’t comment on your posts but i often check out your posts whenever you put up a new picture.

The reason for why I’m sending this message is i need a candid photographer for my wedding. The wedding will mostly be at the end of jan or early feb. I honestly would love to have you as my photographer, but I’m probably sure that you’re out of my budget. I totally respect that. I was actually looking for someone who could do it for less, but i saw your post on fb i was like.. If joshi could shoot my wedding.. That’d be… Ahh.. A man can dream right?

I don’t wanna take up much of your time. So I’ll tell you my requirement. I need a candid photographer for one day for my wedding. And I’ll be honest with you, my budget is somewhere between 15-20,000. I love your work and I’d understand if you would not want to do it. But it’d mean a lot if you did. It’d be the best wedding gift ever. :) (i know it’s maska but just thinking about you shooting my wedding has got me excited)

Well here’s wishing dreams do come true :)

Hope to hear back from you

  38. Hi,

I am reaching out to you on behalf of Getit Infomedia, the parent company of Yellow Pages. They recently acquired askme.com and are running various online communities centered around Education, Fashion, Travel, Wellness, Interiors etc.

I was wondering if you’d be interested in doing a quick interview with us for their Travel community. This is a new channel, so you won’t find much stuff on their site. But you can check out their Fashion and Education communities.

I am really running on a tight deadline here and would like to do the interview asap. Do let me know if you’d be interested in taking this forward.

I want a really great hand to make me a wonderful nude profile…..both in studio and outdoors……if possible. Don’t know if u entertain males…….as its not so common in India.
All I do is take my self nude shots in my iPhone. But would love it professionally.

  40. Hi Joshi,
Let me first start by complementing your beautiful photography! You’ve done some pretty amazing work, which is why I’d like to ask if you’d be interested in sharing with us some of the best travel advice you can give on an article I plan on writing? It’s rather unconventional to ask this from a photograpger, I know, but I came to know of your site through a list of the top 25 best travel bloggers in India, so it would be interesting (and an honour!) to cover your unique perspective as well. Please feel free to contact me by email so that we can discuss details further and with more privacy :).
