  1. Wonderful composition and color. The depth of field is perfect,
allowing me to focus on the action of the central figure.

  2. As usual, this is my second attempt to comment on your beautiful photo:) But the first attempt was in a village, so the internet cracked at the last minute. But this is to let you know that when your post comes alive on the blogosphere I am so eager to see what it would be!!! This post I like for these reasons–vibrancy of colors, I can sense motion in the pic–there is a continuity I feel, and it is so fresh that I was transported to the temple area and almost felt like I was seeing the performance in front of my eyes–great work!

  3. Joshi….. I am sure you plan to host an exhibition of all your captures. The question now is…when and where ? It would be cliche to say….’awesome’ :) Click on….. :D

  4. Apart from being a dedicated visual artist, I am also a lifelong martial artist; predominantly of Shotokan Karate. It’s fascinating to me how the sizes of their shields are the same as those used in Somali martial arts that use spears, sticks and canes.

Good placement to get that shot.

  5. Colourful and potentially scary, if I were facing that number of men, pointing their swords at me! Excellent composition; thanks for the info too.

  6. Joshi, this is a really beautiful shot buddy. Well done on all accounts. I cannot wait to get to India!!! I will be in the country in a year!
