Holi is the Festival of colors. Holi celebrates the triumph of ‘good’ over ‘bad’ and is celebrated by people throwing colored powder and colored water at each other. Bonfires are lit the day before. Holi is celebrated on Phalgun Purnima which comes in the later part of February or March.

  1. Holi is the festival of colours and you were able to bring it to the picture, but its a festival of fun and happiness too, just because she looks a bit confused,not able to feel the happiness.
    But as a portrait, it stands TOP.

    I enjoyed going thru ur blog in the morning ,by evening I happen to browse the below book.

    Just wanted to compare this photo with a picture on the Jacket of ” The Maximum city:Bombay lost and found” These two are so similar yet different feelings.

  6. It could be different from giving just simple information about Holi the pic about telling the truth of poor people those can celebrate any holidays and the all days are equal on their lives
