Holi is the Festival of colors. Holi celebrates the triumph of ‘good’ over ‘bad’ and is celebrated by people throwing colored powder and colored water at each other. Bonfires are lit the day before. Holi is celebrated on Phalgun Purnima which comes in the later part of February or March.

Holi is the festival of colours and you were able to bring it to the picture, but its a festival of fun and happiness too, just because she looks a bit confused,not able to feel the happiness.
But as a portrait, it stands TOP.

Lovely shot… something about the picture that makes it stand out from the ordinary. That reddish color just pops on the monochromatic background, and the composition works great.
