Selling vegetables from a canoe seems like a tough job. The reflection of the boat on the water gives the image added contrast. Another excellent observation with camera ready.

That was one of those times when centering the subject was the perfect thing to do, and the colors are beautiful as well. But ultimately it’s his expression, and I think that’s what always separates your photographs from those that miss the mark – you convey humanity.

Now and then you come across a shot that is so silent, so simple and yet overflowing with meaning and ideas. This is one of those shots. The man’s face speaks a lot and it looks so deep and detailed in contrast to the bright shades around him. A contrast that speaks a lot!
