The Abdi Dalems of Indonesia are royal servants. They live a life of devotion towards the sultanate palace and their sultan. The Abdi Dalem pictured here is a guide at the Royal Palace (Kraton) of Yogyakarta who gave me a moment for me to capture him while he was guiding a group.
Thankful to Wonderful Indonesia and the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism for a great opportunity to see Indonesia.
What a stunning capture of a face that shows a life well lived and at peace

Devotional sincerity. That is what is evident in the man’ s face. Apparently he is a royal servant but your photograph is exemplary of the magical revelation that true art form does by revealing what is not ordinarily visible.
Joshi this is marvel! Thank u for enlightening me that art is pure extremely pure endeavor of an artist that enables experience of sublime bliss!
