From my corner of the world, this photo is a remarkable study – beginning with my awe that you are allowed to capture this moment. The image itself seems to express that it’s too sacred or intense for public sharing. So, I receive it as a gift. Thank you.
Beautiful capture! The sadhu’s beard is truly amazing. I think your decision to present the image in black and white works really well. I’m not sure of the retention of colour on the flowers though.
engaging and mystical; brilliant photographic shot!! I love the soft near grey tones in the back contrasting with the sharper, warmth of the orange. Very eloquent :)
W-OW! Is this even real? It has such a “dream effect”! I also appreciate the dignity of his hair covering in the exact appropriate place! GREAT PHOTOGRAPHY and color! Wow!
This photo captures so much of what we are as humans — intuition of and search for the divine, the social nature of ritual, ceremony, sharing, the various cultures we create, meeting of spirit and flesh, intuitions of other realms, our perception of the spiritual, beauty, art . . . . Your picture is superb. Thanks for sharing!
This is a powerful portrait. The wonderfully muted overall tone with the contrasting flowers and above all the interesting subject performing his rites. Intense and awe-inspiring.
Beautiful capture. Love the contrast between the selected content and the black and white.
