excellent shot, a sole with many stories, great in black and white, cheers callie
Who can tell? The thought of growing old and infirm is scary. Superb shot
I like that. He has a sadness in his eyes.
So amazing! I adore the depth of your black and whites. Truly breathtaking.
Really good portrait , looks natural with good contrast and like Mondrak says about the sadness in his eyes.
why did you cut his ear?
We don’t know.. Nice portrait.
It is such a wonderful portrait.
An awesome shot, Joshi!
Hey why not put my face (71 years and my wife’s (68years) and show some hope to your followers!!!!!
What a character! Really nice composition.
Great portrait… great composition.. :)
The silvertone quality works extremely well with his hair and mouthstachw. Theye are as prominent as the rims of his glasses. I see them first, then the rest of his face.
Great portrait very aptly titled!
lovely!!! inquisitive look :)
You are really excellent at portraits… Fantastic work !
Have a lovely sunday :)
Nice shot, with a title of “What Lies Ahead” I thought you had photographed a baby..:-)
Awesome portrait– What lies ahead, indeed, what lay past?~ Jason
True expression captured :)
Excellent photo of a man who has lived a hard and difficult life; yet, seems to be looking forward to whatever will come his way. A photo with a great deal to say. Sooo very well done … love this very much.
Sad face n haunted eyes .. None of us know wat lies ahead .. But we gotta live.. Nice one
A great portrait. I would love to know his story, the life he has had up to this point.
Sad eyes! Great capture.
Very cool shot.
really well clicked
Yep. Excellent but sad a little after watching the image appropriate with the caption. Life is a river they say. Life is a stream I say.
awesome portrait, really a special feeling inside it
The glasses really bring out his eyes.
What a face ! Time has done his job !
You never know…Well captured!
Nice portrait shoot!
Un vrai portrait sans retouche

…………………………..I liked the white teeth :D :P nd the white specs ….jst kidding,
grt shot as usual :) cheers
Bleak days he would feel, but lets hope otherwise, Nice shot!
A beautiful portrait! An expression so soft…
In his eyes, you can see the many years gone by
Great gap-tooth portrait!
There is this weird charm about his eyes and the look in them. Wonderful click.
There are moments in our live’s we may wonder “what lies ahead”. But the camera is the only tool that captures the “present”.
How do you approach your subjects? Some of your images seem very composed and intentionally lit. However, The emotion and vibe screams street photography to me. I would love to learn more about your process.
Great shot as always Josh.
Great portrait of a life lived to the full. Well done.
Lovely image. I love the monochrome work. The texture is nice.
Nice work again!
Superb! His face tells stories.
Another stunning portrait! Love the emotion on his face :)
Hmmm….I’m starting to see a pattern in the ‘types’ of old men you capture! This one, losing teeth…physical health starts in the mouth…what sort of food does he eat now, I wonder? Excellent.
very nice photo shot on the concept !
Great black and white photo =)
A probing portrait…brilliant!!
Nicely contrasted this portrait , a good feeling seing at him , Phil

Very nice portrait; love his expression as well
this sure is a nice capture of him, great details & tones! :)
great shot —and great caption
I like the effect his glasses have on him. He looks to be in mid-conversation like he’s discussing something of great importance.
Thanks for the clue about commenting on your blog, I’m able to leave comments without linking to my facebook.

I really love your photography. The subjects are so real. Really outstanding work.
Life is etched on his face–and you captured that aspect very well. Nice work, Joshi.
the bright glasses works perfect on the dark skin.
Love this portrait, the textures in his skin are amazing, well done !!
beaucoup de profondeur dans le détail sur ce beau portrait !
beautiful shot, I like the d.o.f. and the glasses, it’s like they are illuminated
You should do exhibitions where we meet people like this. Each one tells a story.
Very nice portrait
So Gandhi wore glasses?
Love your portraits of your people. Perfectly done again!!
