Attukal Pongala is a Hindu religious festival of Attukal Bhagavathy Temple where only women devotees are allowed to participate. Attukal Pongala has been entered in the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest annual gathering of women.

After researching the festival a bit, I can see that these women represent only a fraction of the participants. To see the entire festival must be quite an experience. The diagonal of the photo guides the eye into the scene and the DOF is just perfect. Nice work, Joshi.
