I’m viewing all of your work. Absolutely magnificent portraiture. You post-prod your B/W images as I often do; abundantly and richly black. Most impressive!

You remind me of the great Raghu Rai. Many may have expensive cameras with numerous features but those cameras by themselves cant capture poetic moments such as this one! I am stunned by your being there at the right moment and when your subject being in the right mood. One cant possibly make the real people fake expressions or even make them re-enact because they are not professional actors. My dear friend, how do you put them at ease, do you first build rapport with them, do you hide your camera from them? JD, would you be large-hearted to share your amazing knowledge and experience and, am sure, your fans would simply love it as a X’mas and new year gift! Thanks and best NY wishes!
