Beautiful portrait with some very nice lighting! I read somewhere in the comments you used an 85mm lens. Am curious to know which one is it. :) I have a Samyang 85mm/f1.4, manual focus lens. I have used it a few times, but it’s a HUGE struggle getting the shot in focus at 1.4 coz the DOF is so shallow! And sometimes I don’t have the patience to finish what am shooting. :D
Ah, the 85/1.8 – it’s is an awesome lens! My 85/1.4 needs a lot of time and patience. Doable, but I have realized a manual focus lens is not for the restless me. :D I am trying to get hold of a used 135/2.8. It’s been my dream lens for a long time.
Beautifully captured :)
Thank you :)
:)
As I get close to his looks, I would suggest the title : Man Reading at Hyde Park, Sydney
:)
true :)
Nice complementary colours and selected focus but I am curious why you chose colour rather than black and white.
Thank you Jane :)
This had some nice sunlight, so tried color.
I especially like the sun shining on the back of the bench, Joshi. Sunset years!
Thank you Ginnie :)
I like the light on the bench. A moving photo
Thank you Marie :)

I love this!! I love how warm it looks. Golden glow yumminess 💕👍

This is beautiful. The slightly blurred gold of the chair, the soft background, the sharpness and angle of the leg. Totally gorgeous.
Thank you so much :)
Beautiful lighting

Perfect frame joshi
Thank you :)
A LIKE.

Reblogged this on Vietnam Travel & Trade Portal.
I like this pic. But wondering why you didn’t click it in landscape mode. It would get more realistic view of this man with more colors.
Just asking as i am trying to learn photography now a days.
Thank you :)
Composition wise, it won’t create any impact for this image on landscape mode on a 85mm lens.
Love the light in this.
:)
Well captured candid!
Thank you :)
A beautiful composition and a warm light… perfect shot.
Thank you :)
Un portrait très touchant.

Lovely contrast, Joshi. Love the light coming and shining out from the background, lighting up the darker foreground :)

Excellent shot, Joshi, but by my 70-year-old eyes he looks pretty young to me.

Mine is a Nikon 85mm 1.8D lens. Film era lens ;)
1.4 can be risky, but i think with more patience it should be ok.
