Filter coffee making | Vivekananda Coffee, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India
Filter coffee or filter kaapi is a traditionally South Indian way of preparing coffee by combining frothing hot milk with a brewed decoction of coffee.
Filter Kaapi….
OMG! The aroma is mesmerising. Especially filter kaapi made by a South Indian is inimitable. No Cappuccinos or Mocacchinos can beat a filter kappa!

I’m fascinated by the residue of humanity that was captured on the urn itself. Simple and beautiful.
I like how polished and clean the nickel is with the foamy coffee at the center. Such a small cup held in large, capable hands. :-)
