Well, you’ve certainly got a lot of people here hungering for samosas. What struck me about the picture was the expression on the guy’s face. He’s obviously looking out for traffic while crossing the street but his expression conveys more than that. Fatigue brought on by despondency? Don’t think he is much enjoying selling the samosas:) That’s what great about the picture. The appetising samosas contrasted by the man’s expression

A new blog for me and more photography from Joshi Daniel – we are lucky to have access to such imagery.
I love Samosa! That image took me right back to my childhood! We lived in Kuwait, and would go shopping in the local souk. There would always be samosa sellers like this; the samosa were small, not like the big, cold pallid things we get over here; small, piping hot, spicy and crispy. The seller would fill a paper cone with them, and my sister and I would sit in the back of the car happily munching… it was the biggest treat!
Looks appetising
mmmm samosas possibly my favorite treat ever. especially the ones with peas and rice.

I love the curry-leaves decoration on top! But the, samosas are not covered as he walks down the street. Safety-issues :)
