  1. It seems that his gaze is going through and past the camera. There is a bit of an enigmatic touch in that; we get to see him, but we aren’t allowed to know him, even though we want to. A compelling portrait, Joshi. Nice work!

  2. Such an interesting face. I didn’t see the smile at first, then I looked at his cheeks, and then back up into his eyes and I could see it. Great photo and a great face.

  3. This will seem like a silly question, joshi, but, I’m always thinkin’ how much does that headgear weigh? Having a bedsheet on my head, I think, would be most uncomfortable! ;)

  4. I always look into the story that the Photo tries to convey. With the apt caption and this perfect capture I can say this ones a gem. Superbly done. :)

  5. I have just followed your blog as your work in stop-in-your-tracks wonderful! :) Looking forward to reading your future post in my reader now.

  6. Thank you for liking “Happy Fourth of July.” This is a wonderful portrait. It seems like a straightforward shot, yet there is a hint of an interesting untold story in his eyes. I like your portraits in general, but there is something special about the black-and-white ones. :)
