There are three scheduled tribes in Attappadi in Palakkad district of Kerala: Irulas, Mudugars and Kurumbas. The most primitive of these three are the Kurumba. They continue to live in the interiors of the forest.

  1. Every bit of time and life that she has seen is etched on her face, but it is also evident that a good number of those times brought smiles and laughter which are also recorded. Masterful and tender work. Joshi.

  2. So many wrinkles..wondering what she has seen, what she is thinking..
People have tendency to look or smile at the camera..she is not doing either..how did you manage it?
