  1. Wow! I have to admit I am a gear junkie. The moment i saw a yeshica tlr I had to comment. I have the same camera (handed down by my granddad) in working condition.
    Its quite an unusual perspective in this image. Something poignant yet muted. More TLR images please.

  2. Layer upon layer in this photo – starting with your equipment and the development of film – then the bride, her father?, a blessing? or more henna?, the traditional elements, the modern attire. Is she in love?, is she happy? The grainy-ness acts like a veil so that none of these things is fully clear.

  3. Your composition is so interesting, and as everyone has mentioned, the hands are a wonderful focus. I am guessing that she is having more makeup/henna applied? But it doesn’t really matter.

  5. I like the photo. Wedding preparations are so involved, and that seems to be the case universally. Love the film rendering and the DOF blur.
